I am currently running about 27psi of pressure, right upto the red line.
I am glad to hear everything is ok.On the subject of turbo's,could you give me some advice please.I have a 1.9 CDTI 150 and have always used 5w-30 fully synthetic oil as standard. But,after a service last week,I have found that they have used Castrol GTX PRO LL025 semi synthetic oil.As I have been led to believe that the turbo is lubricated/cooled by the oil, will it have a negative effect and should I change the oil to a fully synthetic or will the present oil be alright?.I have also done the CCV mod,(by Winnie),and I am running with a semi blanked EGR valve. FELIXX.(Thanks in advance).

If they didn't put in a 0W-30 or 5W-30, it is not suitable for your car and could cause turbo failure due to starvation when cold. Chris Gettings sucessfully had Kwik Fit pay out for knackering his turbo when they stuck a 10W-40 in during a service.

Popped it upto 28psi now and getting two slightly larger nozzles for the injection system. Should give me a little more fluid going in but I could go for a 200psi pump instead of my 125psi one. Something for later.

Going to hit two rolling roads now, both near Leeds and both on Saturday. Total VX will be at one of them, I will try not to beat them to death after last time but no promises. I will be very interested in the fingures from the two roads on the same day, especially as there will be petrol and diesel Astras at one even (plus me) and diesels of all makes at the other.

it was done in 3rd last time but if you remember the guy said the car slipped on the rollers . being reading that some have had theirs done in 4th or 5th does this matter much . as you say it is more about the way she drives now and im more than happy with it now . khalid

Ran on two roads, this one which said 217bhp/360lbft and another that said 229/350lbft. I just replaced two nozzels in my injection kit tonight though and found three of the four nozzels were blocked. So that is a bit of a bumber and I will need to get two more to get back to what I want. I thought my consumption had gone down because I was driving sensibly, should have known better XD

So I didn't make massive power but on the road unlike before, it isn't a smoke machine when ragging it.
