    Default Santapod RWYB

Thinking of going to a RYWB session this summer at santapod. I'm guessing it will be 21st August as its the only sunday rwyb in summer.

So far there is a mix of cars out of my mates that are coming ranging from a 360bhp fiate coupe to a diesel bora.

My question is, what sort of times should i expect to acheive? My car is pushing 192bhp and 215lbft at the wheels (bout 230/240-250 at the fly) but its an auto. Any suggestions on a good launch for an auto? as the vectra tends to deselect gear when its been stood for a period of time, so should i hold it on the handbrake and give it slight revs?

I think my main competitor is my mates ST220 but like i said, there is a big range meant to be coming including a stage 1 megane r26, leon Fr and a fiesta st.

The invite is open to anyone who wants to come too . The date isn't set in stone but im deffo wanting to make it happen this summer

I reckon you'll be aiming for around 15.0 seconds 1/4 mile

I'll be there at some point pushing around 14.3 seconds 1/4 mile unless I have the Stage III by then... and who knows... might get a 13.9

My Santa Pod Race Number is : CC1982

    Bring it on...

I'd be happy with 15sec tbh, as thats what i was hoping to aim for. Just dont want to be embarrassed and shown up with a poor start from the auto lol

and 10.6... nice lol, whats bhp that running at? must be some serious power

Anyone ran a stock gsi on the strip? any idea's of normal stock times?

Hopefully see some of you there also as ive just confirmed with santapod that the date wont change, so, as that is the only summer sunday normal RWYB, think that'll deffo be the day :P
