Default No rear centre head rest in 2008 150 CDTI Vectra

    Hi All,

I have a 58 plate 150 SRI CDTI vectra. There are two rear head rests however there is not one in the middle. I have pushed the fabric on the top of the rear seats where the head rest would be and can feel two blanking plates over the holes where the headrest would slide into beneath the fabric.

Im just wondering whether i can get a centre head rest from another vectra, cut the fabric slighly, remove blanking plates and drop head rest into my car?

Has anyone done this or know if this is possible?

    Cheers,

Yes you can, but you will also need the sockets to replace the blanks, i have done this myself

Any dealer will order them or just get some from a scrappy or someone braking a vec.

Middle one is different to allow you to see out of the back.

Yup the posts are shorter than the other ones. Very easy mod, I have done it myself. If you have a good scrap yard local to you you will get the bits for about £10. The brackets that fit into the seats come out very easily from a donor car.
