Default Got an idea, What you think?

About a month ago i sold my much loved 04 3.2 gsi sniff, and bought a 55 1.9 150 sri.

Its a pretty basic model so doesnt have much goodies.

So what i am thinking of doing is trying to pick up a cheap, high spec 1.8 or 2.2 petrol with the xp detailing, sat nav, snowflakes etc......then stipping it all off and swapping with the stuff off mine and then sell it on again and hopefully not loose too much money (Hopefully lose less than the parts would cost me)

You think this would be cost effective?

Also whats your thoughts on my car change from a 3.2 to 1.9?

Y not buy a higher model cdti? It will prob be hard to shift a high spec model that has none of it's toys? Or buy a cat c and scrap it once you have broke it for spares?

I got mine very cheap compared to what it would be with the goodies on it, its hard to find a high spec one without a million miles for good money!

Seems like your hoping you don't lose too much cash, the problem being you might lose cash, you might not be able to shift it on for a while. It's a bit if a gamble, are you willing to take the risk?

I am indeed, if it would be worth it. How much would snowflakes, sat nav, front and rear xp bumpers cost?

Depends on a million things mate. Personally I'd keep an eye out for things on here and ebay instead of trying to shift a secondhand car which everyone will look at and wonder where all the standard toys are on it...

I have a good track record for making profit on cars. Bought my 3.2 about a year ago for £3400 and sold it 3 weeks ago for £3550, its all in the pictures you take and the advert

I obviously wouldnt sell it on as a xp sat nav once i have taken all the goodies off it!
