    Default windows steaming up

    I've got a 54 plate v6 CDTI sri 5 door hatch.
As soon as its cold outside or its raining the windows all mist up.
I have to keep the fan blowing at 3 or 4 to keep the front windows and windscreen clear. The rear window heater struggles to keep it totally mist free.

I can't find any obvious leaks.

Has anyone had similar, or knows if this is something I can cure?

Give all the inside glass a good going over with Autoglym glass cleaner, if a heavy smoker has had car before you, may need to do it several times.

I've cleaned the windows a few times. The car hasn't been smoked in, so not that.
My journey to work is 55 miles and about 50 of them are motorway miles. Still steams up regardless. Rather annoying.

Gonna be the drains blocked soaking the pollen filter. Does it smell damp?

I can't remember how to get to the pollen filter mind...

This thread shows the pollen filter.

Just in front of the filter is a drain make sure this is not clogged.

There is no damp smell but I'll have a go at the pollen filter tomorrow. Thanks for the advice, I'll keep you posted.
