    Default Service advise please

    Hi there
I havent been on here for ages so i hope you dont mind me posting for help?
i had a vectra c 2.2 sri back then, i sold it because my missus was learning to drive and she said it was too big. but the other week i got a 55 1.9 cdti sri 150bhp and i love it, its so much better in my opinion then the petrol version and now im a diesel man for ever, anyway back to the questions.

the car has done 90k and i went to vauxhall and got a quote for a full service, water pump and cambelt which they quoted me £500.00

i was wondering how hard it would be to do the cam belt and water pump myself, im a engineer by trade but not on cars, ive seen some threads saying its quite easy to do.
does anyone know any good links for a cambelt for a 55 reg vectra 1.9 cdti sri, water pump and full filter kit, air. cabin, oil and fuel and do i need any special tools/seals/equipment to fit these? i.e torque wrench, belt tensioner??
    many thanks for your help

Autovaux often get mentioned by people on here for parts (although never used them myself). If you feel you'd be handy with the spanners but just need some engine-specific information, you could do worse than buy a Haynes manual for the Vectra.

Anti-freeze is usually pretty cheap at Vx dealers. The red stuff "should" be the long-life type that you need, but if you buy it from Vx you can be certain.
