    Default Heated Seats wiring question

Just fitted new leather interior from an elite into my SRi, along with heater switches for seats, but cannot find the wiring anywhere to plug the switches into. Any idea where i could find it also do i need to fit a fuse or relay or should it just plug and go or is it a bit more complex??

I know that Fuses 15 & 16 in the boot are for the left and right front heated seats. They're 15amp fuses. The plugs under the seat that you should've unplugged when you changed the interior over should include the wiring for the heater elements. Wether or not you've got the wiring in place though I'm not sure. Someone else can advise you on that

I thought that i would find the wiring for the heated seat switches behind the blank covers that i took off to fit the heated seat switches, took the glovebox out but couldnt find any wiring, do i need to take out the radio to see if anything is taped up behind it??

I have the same car/year and there was no wiring for the heated seat switches. Might only be there on the facelift

If you remove the the two blanking covers in the dash and look towards the back of them, if you can see the connectors in the back then the wiring to the BCM is there, if not you're in for a world of pain. You would need to add the wires from the BCM to the switches, not fun, as you have to remove most of the dash.
Depending on age/spec of your car you may need to add the wiring from each driver/passenger footwell to the connector under each seat.
    Hope this helps.

Had the plugs behind the blanks on both my preface and facelift. If you pull the blank out and see a plug at the back then you have the wiring for the switches and they will go straight in.
