    Default Tyre Repair Help !

I was about to swap my front wheels to the back tonight as the fronts were getting a bit low.

After a quick check of the tyres i found i have 3 nails in the back tyres !!!

1 in one tyre and 2 in the other !!

Anyway quick question, how much is it for a punture repair.
Do they still plug tyres these days or patch them.

Ime worried now about them taking the tyres off in quick fit as not one of my wheels has a single blemish on them and i know most of the time the tyre removal machine gauges a nice big scrape around the rim !!!

Anyone had there wheels damaged when having tyres fitted.

    Nice one guys !!!

I thinks about £12 for a repair, as long as its not in the tyre wall they should do it.

Yes they still plug them if they are not to near the edge of the tyre.

When you speak to someone about getting them repaired ask to speak to the manager and get him to agree to repair any damage done to the wheel (If it happens).

Shame your not closer as I could have done it. Our tyre machine is really good and I havn't damaged a wheel yet

Providing the nail is in the repairable area :
    http://www.etyres.co.uk/images/etyres-tread-gauge.pdf

If not, then leave it where it is
It is only an advisory for MoT purposes, providing the puncture is not resulting in air loss

If the puncture is in the sidewall then check the tyre daily for buldges, especially on the opposite side (ie 12 and 6 o'clock)
