Default my new vectra, the mods begin

    Hi All

The fuel injection pump on my 2003 2.0dti went so time for a new Vectra. This is what I bought.

Its a 1.9 CDTi SRI XP 150BHP. It doesnt have the sat nav though but maybe I'll add if I can get one cheap enough.

So far I have fitted a new roof loom, rear interior light, auto dimming mirror, illuminated mirrorred sunvisors, sun glasses holder, map reading lights and a parrot MK19200.

Next on the list is the rain sensor (I have the EX one) and the auto lights (just waitiing on the switch being delivered).

I have a new rain sensor screen being fitted next month so I'll let you know how that goes.

Looks to be a fine purchase! Some choice mods too, already! What else have you lined up for it, apart from the satnav and rain sensor?

im not sure Paul, open to suggestions, nothing too difficult, mabe dimming exterior mirror or folding mirrors even. I'd like rear electric windows too. and what about parking sensors and headlight washers!! All depends on what wiring is there. I here these facelift models have most of the upgrade wiring stripped out which is not too good!!

I have all the kit for auto lights/wipers and have already fitted the dimming mirror.

Hi KeV. The toe outer buttons are for the reading lights. One of the inner buttons turns the interior light on and other turns the rear interior light off when the from one is on.

Hi mark. Just phone round your local windreen replacement companies for a price to supply and fit a rain sensor windscreen. Once fitted you need to tale it to vauxhall or someone with tech 2 gear to activate the auto lights and rain sensor
