Car is doing my head in! my car has very small coolant leak and when idling holds the coolant with no great loss, as I soon as I touch the accelerator then my coolant just disappears.
Any ideas much appreciated!

When you say disappears - you mean all of it? Do you drive it to and from work and top up daily or is it just being tested while stationary? Is there steam from the exhaust? Footwell damp.
You are going to have to give us some more info to work on fella.
Can you see where the stuff is going? damp patch on floor or engine bay
Check under the oil filler cap for white gunk, hopefully there wont be any
Any 'witness marks' on hoses, radiator, expansion bottle.
Could just need a new expansion bottle cap.
Just stick some Radweld or any good type of radiator sealer in,that should sort it out. FELIXX
If it is not visabilty leaking and disappears faster with revs it sounds like head gasket. Do a cylinder leakage test to confirm.....
Oh and if you care about your car don't use radseal. It normally does fix the leak but it might not and it can also block waterways. If it limits flow through one of the internal coolant ways in the block it can overheat and once its in its virtually impossible to get out. I had a mate who used it. The car was fine for a year and a bit but he hit some traffic on the motorway on a hot day. It over heated and the head warped. It needed new engine. When the old one was removed you could see the coolant passage in the block for number four cylinder was barely passable....
Radseal is a bodge and does not fix it properly. perhaps its fine to sell it on...

Sorry to say my car had the same symptoms last year. Used about 1 litre of water per 20 miles, coolant light kept coming on, temperature gauge all over the place. However no sign of leakage and no mayo under the oil filler cap.
It was the head gasket, so I part-exchanged it quick.
Not what you want to hear I know, I hope it's something simple for you mate, good luck...
