    Default small business owners software

    Hi any one own a small business and use a free data base/invoicing/estimating software I need to change been doing mine in word for 2 years was ok when I started but everything seams like such hard work now, I want to be able to update data base each time I speak or work for my customers. All suggestions welcome many thanks

    I run a small business and we specialise in Global IT Security and Hosted Telecoms.

    The nice thing about what we do is its scaleable. My biggest client has 25,000 employees and my smallest has 1 employee.

    We recommend you use Salesforce.com which is a Customer Relationship Management system and can provide many features running a small business. However, we also fully integrate a SIP Trunking (Voice over IP) telephone service which is hosted in our datacentres.

    This means you dont have any PBX telephone hardware on site, so no maintenance or hardware headaches. Its all done over the internet.

    So the benefit to you is very low cost (its a monthly subscription service with no long term contracts), a fully corporate phone system which is fully integrated into your CRM database, so because we know who's calling you we can intelligently route and prioritise inbound calls to your landlines or mobile or whereever you are (and loadbalancing calls). We can also set rules and policies for out of hours call routing

    We automatically insert all details of calls made (inbound or outbound) in your CRM call records including voicemail & recording (FSA Standards)

    Its very clever stuff

    spoons any Idea on costs on this sort of thing I have about 300 customers 30 regular ones that ring me the rest I call every now and then when I have quiet days at the moment Im a one man band but would like to increase PM me if you want to keep prices/info between us

    Do you want an offline or online solution?

    We recently swapped from offline invoicing to both, and now fully online
    Customers now login, view, and pay their invoices
    Once paid they then print off the receipt, if they require it
    At the end of the tax year they can then print out the summary, which the Inland Revenue will accept (vastly cutting their accountant costs)

    No not really I just want a simply program for me that I can access on line its really for invoicing quoting and customer calls/data
