Resistor

Hi can anyone tell me what size resistor (how many ohms, etc) i need for the fan plug? my fan resistor's blown so i can only use it on full blast, and it wont work on setting 1,2 or 3. rather than buying a new part i could solder it myself but it doesnt say on resistor itself what it is and vauxhall didnt know when i rang them,

hi dave , just fixed my fan heater ( only speed 4 working ) you can get the fuse from maplin,s its a 240deg c thermal fuse/part number RA23A /RA23. cost 82p on 16/1/11. or look on ebay vectra heater resistor £21 new /repair. but its a easy diy.DO NOT SOLDER strip a small connector block and use that ,to connect fuse. pm me if you need more info
