Default Another post about Vacuum Pipes!

    Hello,

I now have my new blue 2mm pipes.

I tried to pull the old ones off, but they are stuck well tight!

Do i need to do anything to get them off, or just pull as hard as i can.

I don't want to break anything.............

Trying doing it after a drive so the engine bay is warm/hot. This will help losen the old ones and put the new ones on. Failing that a bit of muscle never did any harm! Just make sure you have got hold of what ever you are tring to pull it off from!

Maybe use a hairdryer to warm the plastic up, or place the plastic in some hot water to make it more softer to get the pipe on.

I am back at Square one! Limp home mode. I drove for about 30 mins at 80mph on the motorway then, when I stopped at the next junction the stupid light (Limp home mode)came on!! Again!

What would happen for the light to come on after driving at constant speed then coming to stop for the light to come on?

Error code read, nothing to read! The guy with the reader could not find any codes......

I want to smash this car into a wall.

I had a similar problem with my old 3.0CDTi. It was the EGR valve.

Could be different in your case

Could also be one of the actuattor,s themselves going t/u. And they do not generate a fault code when they go
