Spanner on dash

I have a spanner icon on the dash of the car, when diagnostics ran on it, it came outwith an unknown error. After we looked up the codes it gave it pointed out to be a light / bulb / some other connecting cable or whatever. All the codes where cleared, and reset, but the spanner came back 10 mins later.

Has anyone had this problem before? - is this common on the CDTI 150. I noticed when I was driving home, not 100% but the little green light went out on the dash to show that the lights are turned on, at the same time the spanner icon did.


Anyone got any tips how to fix this? - or is to something like an auto electrician Jobby?

You may need a proper Opcom/tech2 code reader session. What was used to read the codes?

It had a proper diagnostic, I better not write on here what was used as my last post was deleted prob because I spoke about the 'tool' that is banned from here
