Guys its driving me nuts, what causes a clicking feeling thru the steering when slightly turning?

    is it the CV joint?

No. You only hear clicking from a CV joint, and only when its on full lock.

Depends what sort of clicking it is, it could well be the track rod ends, it could be a worn gear in the steering rack, it could be a loose mounting bolt holding the rack in place, there's a lot of things it could be to be honest.

so a worn track rod end would cause that?

as far as i know mine needs replaced!
    thats interesting..

its a motion click and only happens when the wheels are turning, usually at lower speeds..
so e.g. doing 20mph i turn the wheel slightly their is a click feeling and you can kind of hear it too. really hard to explain tbh.
