Default Four wheel alignment & MPG

Hi, anyone thats had this done, was there a noticable differnce in MPG? I had my car springs all changed last year and never had it done, and recently my MPG is a little poor, do you think this would help, or could it just be time of year/petrol price! Thanks

I know the fuel companies are wealthy enough to change a lot of things in this world but reducing a set measurement like a gallon or a mile is beyond even them!

true but if like me you just reset the millage every time i put fuel in and work it that way it would work out that im right as i never use the trip computer.
so i put £20 in every other day i could get 140mile to £20 now i only getting 100. why as i dont get as much fuel as i did back then

True, however your mpg is the same as it stands for Miles Per Gallon. If it were MPP - Miles per pound then I may understand.

    To answer to OP's question.

You will notice a increase in you MPG if you have your wheel alignment done. Not by much, but every little bit helps.

    Also check your tyre pressures.

Your recent drop in MPG will more likely to be down to the cold weather more than anything else.

As for the petrol price being a factor. &

If you used to get 400 miles out of a tank of fuel that cost £60 to fill.
Just because it now costs £65 to fill the same tank, you'll still get 400 miles out of it.
If the OP asked for Miles per pound, then you'd be spot on.
