Vectra Questions (few things puzzling me)

I currently have a 1.9 cdti Vectra Club, Now im not sure how the range goes but to me this seems at the bottom I know it doesn’t have things like front fog lights, a trip / range computer etc but can these be added at all? Also id love to know what engine it has as in model number as i have no idea at the moment.

My plans over the coming year or so are to tart up the exterior as i love the way it drives and MPG its fantastic!

Questions also are is it easy to just swap parts around as i want it to look like the below –





Can i just get a bumper extension or am i going to need to change the whole rear bumper? Also for the front bumper is this the same as in swap the complete bumper or just a add on? Skirts ill need to find also.

Regards Fog light as ive the club model im hoping the wiring is there but ill need to change the headlight panel to add the switch aswell i assume!

Last question for now (i promise) regards the model above has dark front lights and i have all chrome can i just buy some off a sri and swap them over?

As I understand Club version has ordinary (non-SRi) rear bumper? Then if you want to buy xpack skirt you need to get Sri one at first. I was fitting mine OPC-line skirt to standard rear bumper (it didnt fit) so I can post some pics when I get back from work.
The easiest way that we could help you is posting some pics of your car.
And regarding front lights its an easy swap. I made this in mine.

Either Z19DT (120bhp single cam) or Z19DTH (150bhp twin cam)

If your boot badge has a red Ti in the CDTi then it'll be the 150 bhp engine (unless someone has changed the badges.

Ok to make things clear in your head:
If you want to make your car looking similar to one at the start of your thread, there's a lot of work you need to do. I don't understand why Opel/Vauxhall made this Club model looking so different to the others. So what you need to do:
-unfortunately xpack1 front skirt wouldn't fit to your bumper so you have to change it
-I had the same rear bumper so Sri one needed for xpack rear skirt. First I bought just opc-line skirt then I had to buy GTS bumper aswell (see pic)
-change side skirts
-head-, rear- and sidelights
-colour code handles and roof stips
-and wheels, exhaust (I still didn't change mine )

thats what i thought to be honest

I wont go as far as changing handles or roof strips i just wanted it to look more pritty than it is now

Ive contacted a breakers about the SRI items and ill have to keep watching ebay i think

i dont know but the bumpers are a diffrent shade of silver,
my mate has a silver vectra and its done the same thing.
makes me think are they origional or have they been changed

they are all like that bud, my silver vxr i use to have was the same, i asked this question, my reply was the cars are painted in the uk and bumpers in germany,,,,,,,, dunno if its true tbh

My Veccy was built in Germany and the bumpers are still off colour. I have seen alot of facelifts of all colours where the bumpers dont match, some are a mile out. Imo it's either coz the bumpers are plastic and the paint takes differently, or it's the way the light reflects off the surfaces, i'm not sure which.
