Power steering rack.Leaking.How do i check level/Top up ?

Until i find out what type of rack is fitted to my (04) 2.2 direct ,how do i check fluid level and how and where is it topped up? Heard i can damage pump if level is low.

Hi Dods
Remove front righthand wheel,remove inner wing panelling,you will see oil resorvoir top up to max level,don't run pump with low fluid level

Will the pump & reservoir top up point be here on the 2.2 direct (04 reg).Have read that some later Vetras have pump on the racks.If it is here on my car,any tips for getting fluid into reservoir.Have heard that it can be difficult getting the fluid in the reservoir as it is at the top of the arch and needs to be pumped in.Is there only one type of power steering fluid to ask for at VX?
