My vectra could be going

Ive had my 54 vectra about 5 weeks now and its been in garage for 2 of them. I paid 4.5k for a cdti 150 sri from a garage mainly so i had some come back. It started off with daft little things but then moved into gear linkage going, thermostat, heater matrix, alternator and the carpet being ****ing wet through. The final straw has come tonight when i went to open my boot and it just makes a whirring nosie. I love the car when it works but 10 faults in 5 weeks is a joke

My CDTi is going soon as well, just had enough. Costs me over a grand in repairs every year despite the fact that it is well looked after and regularly serviced. Its a joke how poor the reliability is. DPF, Intercooler, alternator, clutch and DMF, EGR valve, suspension bushes, broken coil springs, limp modes, warning lights always on, it just never stops. Latest problem is an injector that doesn't seal off & the car stinks of exhaust fumes if you leave it to idle to defrost.

Back to a simple petrol engine next time around, sod the economy...
