    Default DTI engine undertray

Recently had some work done on my signum and have just noticed that they have had to remove/cut the undertray away to drop the engine a little.

Do you defo need the undertray on or will it be ok left on as its in a few bits so if it defo needs a new one i will order a replacment but if its ok then ill leave it.

Under tray was only there to help with drive by noise apparently. Id be asking why its now in bits when its only 4 studs that hold it on tbh.

I removed the one on my 3.0CDTi last year for better cooling. Bit noisier I admit but the engine now takes longer to go from 85°C to 90°C on the Autobahn, which is ideal

There about £250 i think, mine went on mine and i looked at buying one.

Question is, as above why have the riped it off.

    Its a simple removal.

Id be abit angry if they had dont tthat to mine tbh.

    Default

The car went in to get the aux tensiner replaced but the bolt that holds it on had snapped so he had to drill the old bolt out. Went out earlier and checked everything and the undertray is not their. It was a pain in the ass as it has come undone a few times while driving on the motorway but it does keep the bottom of the engine nice and clean. so think i will give him a call tomorow and see where it is.
