I've been running K&N panel filters for year's imo better than the induction kits!! the filter just makes the engine breath better and you do notice a little difference but not a mega amount though. have you done the Air Box Mod??

If you are expecting the roar you get with an induction kit, forget it.The panel filter does what it say's,allows more air in.....period!!.I noticed a little more "pull" and the engine idled a bit more smoother. Also, after doing the air box mod,I can hear a "whooshing" noise as the turbo draws in air,so you know it is working.Worth doing both IMO. FELIXX.

I've done the airbox mod with a K & N fliter, seems to make it smoother at low revs.
I'm told the K & N doesn't add much BHP to a diesel, but it's a "for life" filter as when dirty you just clean it. If you're keeping the car for a while it saves keep buying paper ones.
