well tried this 2day and the nuts are the type with the washer attached when i tried to loosen them i used wd40 to get through the rust 1 slight turn of the nut and the bolt sheared off it looks like they use locktite so its off to garage in morning
Mine's the same, makes an awfull noise when going over harsh bumps. Only one of the original bolts is still there holding it on and a couple of screws drilled through.
did you drill holes into the underneath where the shield bends round the parallel bars the run down the sides....im thinking pop rivets
my old siggy did this ....just pulled em off and didnt worry

yeah but isnt it to stop the heat from the catalytic
dez garage ripped it off nd said theyre a waste of space lol...2 min job f.o.c so chucked him couple of quid for a pint
