    Default Proud Caravanner

I know caravans get a slating, especially by some bloke on telly who is very tall with curly hair, anyway,we enjoy our caravan holidays with our 9 month old daughter, we have recently been to france for a short week (normandy) so i thought i would post a pic of the car and caravan.

The vec tows like a dream even with the low profile tyres and the auto box.

both together a shade over 38ft. plenty of room for beer and wine.

GreenGrowler, i hope to see a pic of your latest toy when its finished!

This was as we arrived early in the morning. no rude comments about sleeping beauty in the passenger seat tho!

My mrs has just started droooooooling over your van m8. We have had a couple in the past but then went for a static. She still hankers after a tourer every now and again

Used to love caravan holidays, we went everywhere but my most memorable places were down in the south of France and the Polmanter touring park in St Ives, Cornwall.

We once came back through Germany and France in my dads old Daimler Sovereign towing the caravan with a knackered auto gearbox which wouldn't shift above 2nd gear. Such memories and fun

One day i might get one...

im biased but yes it is nice inside, it has an L shaped front seating arrangement and a nice large shower room at the back, id like somewhere to keep it too, it lives on a pitch on the river for the summer then goes to my Dads house for the winter.

Nice van & car combo, we got rid of our van 5 years ago as it wasn't for us but time is a great healer and quite possibly I would be tempted again. The Signum would be fine for towing, although I'd prefer a boat to a van but both would be nice.
