there's always a coat of polish to go on..

either that or give it a mini service.. just have a look round it and see how things like the brake pads are doing etc..

Also..see if the wheels will come off.. when we got Mrs Gsi's car they had corroded on to the hub.. took a lot of getting off..always worth checking that yours will come off if you're stuck with a puncture..

Anyway.. the forum will liven up later.. most folks aren't even home yet

spent 3 hours cleanin jus the outside have trouble gettin wheels off due to the sloped drive but a good look round aint a bad idea although i know i need new pads cos me lil lights on lol well hopefully should get the ones on ebay

LOL... I washed my vec at lunchtime... 25 minutes to wash, Dry & pack all the stuff back in the garage... not bad I thought...

Well I've just spent a good part of today giving the missus Corsa a full blown valet in preparation for people coming to view it (got one person interested already and the ad only went up on Monday night!).

Interior vacuumed (she did that ) and I gave the outside the works - wash, polish, wax, all the black trim, wheels, tyres, glass etc. Gave all the interior trim a going over, shampooed the mats and cleaned up any grubby marks on the pillar material. It looks absolutely stonking even if I do say so myself. I'm confident that the first person that sees it will buy it as it looks mint, and it's also a great wee motor with low mileage and attractively priced.
