help needed

hi there i picked up my 04 vectra cdti sri 150 yesterday had no problems on the 100 mile drive home but today its been playing up

started of having loss of power but was ok after restarting car then after going for a drive and geting caught in stop start traffic alot lost power again and seemed pretty rough at around 1000rpm got on the dual track and got upto a decent speed and was ok again but after stopping the car had loss of power again on start up. spanner light came on the first time this time eml light is on

Ya need to get the codes read, there is a foot pedal test you can do yourself, just post up the results. Search the forum for how to do the pedal test. I cant remember of the top of my head

Either tke it somewhere to get codes read or buy the code reading tool from ebay and do yourself, the latter option is more than likely the cheapest
