to decat or not to decat a gsi - is it worth it?

as the 29th of jan very slowly aproaches for my new exhaust im stuck weather to decat it or not. so got a couple o question guys.

1 - am i going to see any really noticable performance gains?
2 - will i fail an mot? even with the other 2 pre cats?
3 - am i going to blow windows out when driving up my local highstreet with increased noise?
4 - shall i just keep it in?

1. My GSi auto became more "driveable" below 3k rpm.
2. No - my emissions stayed exactly the same.
3. No - slightly more throaty sound but hardly anything.
4. No.

MPG - same.

Just thought i'd add my bit, my GSi was MOT'ed 2 weeks ago at my local Vauxhall dealer and passed with flying colours and i've had it de catted. If your unsure if it will pass the emissions use some Cataclean (i put a bottle in just to be on the safe side).
