    confused the check safeguard message

    a while back i fitted a rear interior light at the same time i managed to break part of the roof loom since then ive had the message check safeguard, bought a new loom today as i asumed this is the problem but today ive come across something about the heated rear window having something to do with alarm is this true??? i know i have bits ov the heated window that are broken as i can see bits that stay misty in the mornings.

    found some conductive paint on ebay so im going to fix it anyway

    Check Safeguard normally means there is an issue with the alarm, as the ultrasonics run off of the roof loom chances are that's whats causing it.
    I haven't heard of the rear window demister being part of the alarm. You got access to a code reader/ tech2 etc? That will help you find the problem.

    hi i had this problem before xmas went into vauxhall dealer the connection to the rear screen had burnt out which put the message up on the dash had it repaired all ok

    turns out it was the damaged part of the roof loom, fitted another loom today and all is good put light up sun visors and map lights in at the same time
