Question How to fit an alarm on a Vectra C 2004 2.0 Diesel?

    Hi,

I have purchase today an original car alarm for my Opel Vectra C from 2004 , 2.0 TDI . I'm from Romania so in my country Opel is equal to Vauxhall.

The alarm come of from an identical car so it's Second Hand.
The problem is that it has a couple of cable cuts that I don't know what are there for.

I will post pictures of the alarm and all the cables if there is somebody here who is willing to help me or has done similar jobs like this.
I also will like if somebody here can post an schematic of the alarm wiring.

    Best Regards,
    Cornel

    Hi,

I have the BCM from the car that had the original alarm. I have all the things that I need. The owner of the car alarm provided me everything including a reset code in case I need to use it. To bad he didn't had any schematic. He basic told me to solder the wires that are cut to the one that math with your car. But I don't know even where to mount the car siren or where is the BCM location even.
Any help is welcome. Picture will be best for me.

    Best regards,
    Cornel

The siren goes behind the REC (remove it and it sits behind there)

BCM in on the backside of the fusebox (thats there where you open the drivers door), you have to remove headlight switch and the bits below the steering wheel to get access to there..

    Hi Kenp,

I'm a nub when coming to car components name. So please explain like you explain to a monkey.

First I attach pictures of the alarm whirring. Maybe you could explain what dose every cable do and where should they be mounted.

Also before I start to mount it please tell me if I have indeed everything I need. I trusted the last owner of the car alarm but maybe he missed something.

Here I have pictures of what I have:

    Car Siren

    Car BCM

A click. I assume this will be the click to check if the bonnet is open so the alarm is not activated while the bonnet is open

Some sensors . Where should they be mounted?

Something that is written laser on it. Where should it be mounted?

    Interior alarm light

    Interior car alarm button

Here are some pictures of the car pc. Maybe you could tell me where the Interior car alarm button should be placed

Only the buttons from the top on both sides look like they have some connections. What are the connection for in case there not for the alarm button and how can I make the connection for the alarm button.

Here are some pictures of the car engine. Maybe you can draw on the picture the location where the siren and the hood click should be mounted

Best regards and thanks for all the help so far,
    Cornel

    Hi

Read your PM, but I don't think I can help you with this. This is not a factory fitted alarm you have.
The BCM, switch and bonnet switch is ok. It may be a after marked kit from dealers.
