    Unhappy Goodbye from baz

Well i have just called by to let you all know i have sold my vectra

I decided this after my duel mass flywheel started getting noisy after 20k miles,i had just replaced the alternator, drop links front lower wishbones, track rods and rack links, front springs, rear boomerangs and many other parts.

things had just become too much for me as my dad has been poorly with cancer and the many doctor/hospital visits has took its toll and i need a car i can rely on so it had to go.

anyway i did keep the irmisher grill so i may pop it on ebay soon (i did buy it on this forum LOL)

i also have a genuine sri 2004 alloy with good tyre (goodyear nct 5) i think members on here should get first pop at these items so i will sort somthing for the near future (pics and official advert on here or a link to ebay whatever is good for you)
ps this is not a advert to sell stuff on this part of the forum as i dont want to break any rules.

i got a trade in on my veccy £1700 which i found painful as i payed £5000 and the £1000 for a clutch when i got it 3 yrs ago but i just couldnt push any more money into the veccy,i now have a audi a4 but i havnt found a forum as cool/friendly/informative and will miss the banter but not the constant failures on my car that i had to ask for help on.

We don't have to leave when we stop owning Vectras, do we?

I hope you enjoy your new car

cheers mates well i dont have to go but can always offer advice as i have had most of the common issues with my veccy (i must have got a wrong un LOL )

the audi is well nice but it aint as fast (i miss that) and the wife said "where's the clock (the center clock is a miss too)

the clutch was the big issue here and i had a few run ins with the workshop manager at scotswood road (he is a 1st class tool!)

so you may have not lost me yet... baz

Just because you don't own a Vectra doesn't mean you have to be a stranger.

Hope the new car gives you the joy the Vectra didn't.

enough to put anyone off a car. have to be honest, they don't make vauxhalls like they used to. they fit awful quality parts to them these days - seems like they make them rubbish so that they fail early and cost people money to replace. old cavalier never cost me much to maintain
