When is this JC grilling going to stop - I'm sick of it - everyone moans about him, yet we still all watch TG!?

I don't think WE can tell him he's driving a car wrong or right - he isn't the best driver in the world, he even admits that - but he has driven a lot more cars than ANY of us, including Zondas and Ford GT's....so who are we to argue with what he is saying - he isn't the countries no. 1 car journalist for nothing.

YES, he steers the review into his own opinion, but we all read newspapers, there's no difference.

If he says he likes a BMW M3 CSL supertronic M thingy, doesn't mean everyones going to buy one, nor when he slated the VXR did people stop buying them...its Sunday evening entertainment that we all honestly enjoy.....

Actually, I tend to agree. Clarkson has built his image up to almost a parody of himself, so you can't really take anything he says without a large pinch of salt. It's great entertainment, but no way is it journalism. Living in Luton, as I do, some of the local folks tried to say that it was his fault that the Vauxhall plant closed.
Even they said it was rubbish, just "economic conditions" It's like saying that Tony Blair is responsible for the Gulf War. (Oh, hang on though.......... )

it's the exact same thing that simon cowell has done for himself created a persona that people love to hate. it seems to work as they are both very rich!

Lets put it this way - them that act like complete divs (being polite here) or are morally corrupt are the ones who seem to profit the most.

As me old Grandad said "Show me a rich man, I will show you a crook" - Most times, he's been right!

But Clarkson, I can't say I'm fond of the chap, but he is entertaining nonetheless, not least for his p1$$ takes of "The Hamster" and "The other hairy git"!!!!

But he really should NOT use the phone when driving his Bentley down the M1 (yes mate, you were witnessed in outside lane, 90 odd MPH yakking on the phone and not really paying attention to the road)

Though why people on here love him to bits is a bit of a mystery... he doesn't like Vectras or Signums..... AT ALL!!!!

Tho he loves the Monaro (who wouldn't tho, eh?!)
