Default A few more mods but need opinions 1st guys

I am wanting to get even more power out my motor for little money here are a few thoughts let me know honest opinions please

I have done airbox mod with a k & n panel filter. Would a fully closed carbon fibre induction kit see more airflow than the standard air box and k and n panel or not will it sound any better or not

Also mass air flow sensor this has a plastic mesh over then a very fine wire mesh below that if I removed the thick plastic mesh to increase surface area would this be ok and would this flow more air as it's more or less half blocked at the moment with the plastic mesh being so thick

I have removed throttle plate too which I have found good results

Anything else I can do which is not in my signature and not what I have mentioned above that is cheap

Thanks guys hope I hear back from you lot

id say you maxed out on the cheap mods mate maybe new injecters?? id say leave that grill on your mas sensor as iv read people have removed them and had them brake as tiny bits of dirt hitting the mas sensor dont know if true but i did read it somewhere on here id say. i cant think what else you could do with out spending a lot of pennys maybe a new inter cooler as you running a remap no dpf/cat and pre cat and all the rest of your mods

just a bit off topic i rang mas today mate and he remembers doin your car so got nice price thanx mate

what did removeing your throttle plate do mate??

Good job mate glad you got a good price

I removed it and now noticed that I get a better trottle response and and don't get that slight miss on part throttle that I used to get it just feels good now that's all only took me 40mins to remove from car then on bench remove the 2 screws holding the flap on you then have to rotate the gears round and pull out the disc the. Put back together and refit to car

IMHO I feel as though it's more responsive and it will be staying out.

Where can you get uprated injectors from and what sort of price cheers

All that removing the mesh from the air flow meter will do is put the car into limp home mode and probably ruin the air flow meter aswell.

You already seem to have covered all the performance mods unless you want to start spending big bucks.

sounds hard ill leave that one lol id say as cave man nige as he got new injectors for his (petrol) but i bet where he got them they do diesel and his were 150+ vat i think i know not cheap cheap but well your cars had most things done and intercoller cost the same. id say get new intercooler and stage 2 remap cost about £300ish i bet 150 for the intercooler 150 for stage 2 remap then you be pushing 250bhp more maybe maybe new in tank pump for a higher flow rate

just reeling off what i wanna do to mine but be long time before i can do it all

stick with your k&n style panel filter mate, all these other systems just cost money and do very little more.. Nutron has a cdti 150 and he put a leaf blower to his intake to see if it would make a difference and it did sweet fa.. You can add a tuning box even though you have map or you can go for water injection like he did... have search of his posts, he has tried almost everything and currently has a NOS installation...

I have looked into water methanol and nitrous but really don't know which to choose I know more power is to be had with nos but it's about 600 quid for a decent install but it's like 50 odd quid to get the bottle regassed

Where as water methanol is about 300 quid for a decent kit which is not too bad and you use distiller water which I can get from work and methanol about 20 quid for 25 litres but I'm not sire how much extra power I would get with this setup

Nos I can choose 50bhp or 100bhp shots
