    Default Decisions Decisions

Its come to the time when my Siggy requires 4 new tyre's. Im running 19" snowies at the moment and the cheapest budget tyres im prepared to get are going to cost me £400 fitted. So what do I do! Do I get new tyres fitted and keep the snowies or do I get some new wheels with tyres and sell my snowies on.They could do with a refurb but are straight with no cracks etc. What would you do?
All input will be gratefully received.

new alloys with DECENT tyres will still cost heavily in excess of £400 so replace the tyres and refurb -

    as the meerkat says

    simples

or are you considering downsizing the alloys for comfort = are you finding the ride better now the Eibachs have settled ???

I have been considering down sizing. I love the look of the snowies but they give a really bad ride in the car. If I do just get new tyres I wont be refurbing the alloys as they are quite acceptable in appearance to me. The Eibachs haven't settled full yet I dont think but it does feel a little better with them on.

you could increase the sidewall height to give a little more "cushion" on the 19's

But a smaller alloy WOULD still cost more than £400 and probably only come with Ditchfinder tyres .....which would cost more to upgrade

    its a real dilemma ....

The roads will only get worse, not better. Get 17s or 18s.

erm i'll have to think about that one Ian. Lol. what i was thinking though is if i sold my alloys for even as little as £300 and my new alloys were £600 i.d still be saving £100?

as long as there is tread on the H you will get near £500 for the snowies..
I got some budget ones put on mine last time at Elite ..£320 fitted ...and they were pretty darn good in all that snow ..think they were called Allrun..........not Fullrun like I have aquired on my new wheels ..
But the 19"s are shockers for the bumps lol...this elite is wollowing aroung at the moment on the 17"s and the suspension .
