Thinking Signum was a bad choice of car!

Has anyone had any experience with changing the alternator on a signum 2.0 dti.

only had the car since september and its had new dual mass flywheel and clutch (luckily not at my expense) new starter motor before xmas, 4 new glow plugs and now the frickin alts gone on me.

What i wanna know is are the fairly easy to do and does anyone have any tips

Part no: R1530020 about £150 on exchange at Vx, should be a bit cheaper from the likes of A Pages or ECP...
I have just had mine replaced & i can tell you the cdti alternators are twice the price
