yep that's it I'm not really a Vec C owner any more as the I just couldn't afford to run it

It will be sad to see her go but need's must and when I get it re-registered it'll be up for sale in a few week!!

Anyway my new motor

56 plate Astra estate SRi XP 1.7CDTi and I'm love'n it

great fun to drive not as heavy as the Vec and I'm not missing the extra 50bhp either

and the mpg is much much better doing about 45 - 50 mpg's

lol not really well she doesn't really go in the car now as I've moved out of my parents place so my old man had to get a bigger car instead

It's a shame that you have to say goodbye to your Veccy. Anyway you shouldn't miss her too much having such nice looking Astra though. Wish a lot of reliability

I keep thinking about down sizing recently, what with the new baby on the way and the cost of petrol etc etc but then I think no!! So looks like i'l have to try and find a better job instead. lol

I cant really see how going from a 1.9cdti (38-55mpg) to a 1.7cdti astra is going to make a massive difference in costs?

maybe tax,or insurance for £50?
