Vectra's are unusually expensive to maintain considering the amount of them on the road. How come they are so pricey on repairs and with soooo many faults???

Who recomends changing them? Vauxhall? Never heard of it, seems crazzy to me. Whats the logic behind it?

Surely If you suspect a faulty or weak pack you'd just check out the resistence of the primary and secondary windings?

Even at £55 I wont be changing them unless theres a fault.

Then stick your old ones on the e bay and get some cash back as not everybody will buy new at that price.
