I am thinking about buying one of these:

Has anybody else installed something similar to this..?
I need the Air-Fuel ratio (AFR) readings but having the turbo timer can't hurt..

its good stuff mate turbo timer u can set it how so when u take the key out car stays started to let it cool. an ive got an afr in one of the cars its good to know when ur car is going to lean out so u can get off the gas. it will offcourse show how rich it may be running when u are hammering it.
Are they easy to fit or is this installation something that is best handed to somebody who knows what they are doing?
It's been mentioned before Nige, but to my knowledge nobody has fitted a turbo timer. Mainly because of the CAN bus.
ah yes the can bus that was in the back of mind and an impending question..
There's no doubting there will be ways around it, somebody must have fitted one to a CAN car. Just need the knowledge of where to take feeds from. I imagine getting the AFR readings would be an easier task than the turbo timer.
I have just sent the seller a question about these devices and their CAN bus compatibility..
no heard anything back from them yet, but I suspect it will be a problem with the immobiliser anyway.. Only want a small AFR gauge anyway so will stick to looking for one of those..
i went to source sound about a timer, asked bout imob and they said it would be fine as they can make it immob activate once timer has stopped, although i dont wanna pay £300
sounds like it would affect my insurance then..
