    Default vxr rear diffuser

    looking to change my black plastic diffuser (if thats what its called) at the bottom of the rear bumper for a vxr one,i have seen one at a good price the part number he has given me is 9271537 , the person selling says that it will not fit my 2006 2.2 sri,can anyone confirm this or give me a part number for one which will fit or is it not poss to fit one at all

    Dont know the part number but im sure it can be fitted, I had a quote from vauxhall for the part, painting and fitting and they seemed to think it would be fine!

    it looks the same fitment shape as to the plastic one i have so couldnt see why it wouldnt fit really.can i ask how much you were quoted for the diffuser on its own and for the respray?

    Diffuser was £48 I think and painting + fitting as I didnt get it broke down anymore than that was £170, which is why im still waiting cause that was ridiculous!

    I have read that are a pita to fit but most people here have them!

    If it's a genuine defusser it will fit no problem, with a Sri bumper

    Should fit fine, bought mine new from someone on here for £35 and got my old mans friend who owns a bodyshop to spray it up in anthracite for £40. Fitting is only a 10 to 15 minute job to do it yourself.

    think i will be handing some cash over tomorrow then sweet talking my mate into spraying it at mates rates of course

    Why not spray yourself? its not that hard just do light coats and spend plenty of time preping it. IIRC there are many threads on painting that have good advice.

    might do the covers in the engine bay myself but not sure bout bodywork,mate is a pro and owes me a favour,he can show me then ill do the engine covers,theres always something go wrong when i start fiddling with things ive never done
