My o/s linkage also went and did as previously mentioned...tied it up with 2 cable ties and that was back in 2003 and still going strong..
recently fitted these in the past couple of days, the wipers are now working like new and only cost £26.50 posted.
I'll tell you one thing to think about, did the link fall off because the cups had worn or because the male section?
if its the male section, replacing the links, is just putting the problem off rather than fixing it.
please remember that all problems are different.

had a play with my wipers at the weekedn, didnt wana cable te them as i was affraid they'd just snap off because the angle they move at, so i decided to drill a whole all the way through the top piviting arm (cup section), the two male parts and the bottom arm then just put a long split pin through.
not sure if people wana try this, but sure does save you £115 and maybe waste £25 for the one on ebay.
I changed my linkages for the ones from eBay and they've been fine since. My car's an 07 so had the uprated ones from the factory (I think) but after 100K they still failed through wear and tear. New ones were a ****** to fit as they're on tight, but no issues yet...
