    Default Washer/pump/dohh!

Hi all..my windscreen washer pump seemss to be on the blink..it hardly gets enough pressure to 'wash' the bottom 3 vinch of the screen and nothing happens at the back.

On the pump, try and find a join in the pipe where the non return valve is, on a vec b its by the near side bonnet hindge, disconnect the pipe and use a battery tyre inflater or a low pressure air line and force air back down to the washer bottle, this will clear the filter but only short term as the washer bottle will require flushing.

There's a guide in the 'how 2' section!, remove the l/h three screws for the arch inner lining as shown & flip out the hoses clipped onto the container, pull out pump, the filter may come out with the pump or may stop in the bottle, clean with water & old tooth brush.

same here but after re checking the filter it was clean!, I ended up having to connect the pump up direct from the battery with the pump sitting in a tub of water, then back flushing the pipe out to clear crud .
