Hid headlight bulb holder clips?.

I fitted 6000k HID's some time ago.Anyway,I fancied a change and decided to fit the 5000k bulbs to compare etc.WHAT A PERFORMANCE!!!!!!.Last time I had a little difficulty getting the bulbs secured with the steel locking clips,this time it was an absolute nightmare.Got it sorted in the end,but only after bending the metal in all sorts of weird shapes and cutting myself to ribbons.Is there a better bulb clip available?,if anyone out there knows of one please,please could you let me know who they are?.Thank's in advance. Hifella. Ive got some of these bulbs clips *spare* basically, i ordered some cancellers and they send me these by mistake, & said i could keep them!! I have the foggyest how they work though.......

My 6k bulbs fit fine without them??!

I've never used the metal clips for the bulbs, the bulbs seem to fit just fine without them

I'm confused!!,(mind you,it doesn't take much).How did you manage to get the bulb to stay in the bulb socket without a locking clip?. FELIXX.

Where did you buy your kit from?,I got mine from HID's Direct and the bulb clips came with the rest of the kit.I already had some that I had got off eBay,and they are the same type. FELIXX.

I got the HID's direct kit, i just bent the curved prongs in a bit and they fitted perfectly...

That's what I had to do,hence the cut fingers,that's why I wondered if there were any alternative ways of getting them to fit.While we're on the subject,how did you fit the bulb?,did you fit it with the ignitor strip facing up or down?.The reason I ask is that now I have fitted the lower 5000k bulbs,I'm getting a different light pattern. FELIXX.

These are the one's i've got too.

But i havent a clue how they work or make the bulb fit????

Because my HID bulbs fit fine without them??

Am not using them either mate , mine sit tight in the holder already
