guys how many miles roughly does a turbo last in the cdti 150? i know it depends on condition, usage etc etc. but just wondered cause mine now has 128k...

A turbo should see the other side of 150k.

If you look after it - drive gently for warm up and let it spool down after a drive.

i do that anyway mate, im handing the car back in june and i dont want it needing replaced before that...

do u leave the engine running after driving before you switch the engine off? if so, how long for?

My mate's Vectra 2.0DTi was always running fine. He serviced it like a fanatic! The turbo went WHEN HE WAS DRIVING THE CAR TO THE NEW OWNER!

A turbo should last "forever" if taken care of

but you never know...

i dont leave the car on idle, if im near my place of parking i try stay out the turbo spool so that its cooled down etc, and i keep revs low when cold.
