Default My fathers new purchase, a few questions!

Hi all, my father has just purchased a Vectra 2.8t Elite at the grand old age of 73! Fair play, what a car!!!! I have a question about the cradle that sits where i think the cup holders were. What phone fits it and where can i get him one? I drove it today and i want one, what a great car. Any tips from you guys will be greatly appreciated. The car is a 58 plate by the way. Thanks in advance

It is a great car, I have the phone portal also. Sadly, the chances of you using it are pretty slim. Vauxhall seemed to stop making new cradles for it, hence the phones that work with it are well out of date now. Also, the cradles are just shy of £100 !!

All it will do is charge the phone and provide a handsfree link. Assuming you also have bluetooth, the only advantage is charging the phone without the normal messy cigarette lighter chargers.

I intend to pull mine out and replace it with a cup holder lol

Oh, so his bluetooth phone should connect with it without mounting it on the cradle? I will pop round in the morning and have a play i think. Of all his previous cars, i have never been so envious! Thanks fr the swift replies chaps, most appreciated.

Thanks but does anyone know a reputable mobile service that would come to Sleaford in Lincolnshire. We tried the self fitting and it wasn't too great for us. Appreciate the link tho.
