I had an Insignia as a hire car, the Tourer isnt any where near as big as a Vec C estate, or if it is, it doesnt feel like it!

Don't like the build quality of the pre 11plate ones and the ride is far to hard for a car like this.

If you get the diesel keep a spare set of boost pipes and egr cooler in the boot

As above aswell the estate is quite small

Hence why it cannot be marketed as an Estate (same as the BMW), but as a Tourer
The floor space is about the same, however the volume is sgnificantly less; great when carrying large flat items, but useless for large bulky items
It's about time VX released a larger car again, like the Omega

Loved my old omega m8. Any views on reliability of engines and common problems?

I am personally avoiding the Insignia, not impressed
I might have a look at the bi-turbo, it's as near as I can get to the V6 CDTI, but it depends on what price the nearly new price is

Otherwise this might be my last VX for a while

The bodyshell may be, but the interior isn't as can be seen when sitting in the rear seats
