Can`t Thank TappetPaul Enough For Putting On My Coil-Overs Today

No Knocks/Clanks/Dinks Nothing

Here Goes...When NSF Was Up On The Jack..Sprung An Oil Leak.Never Seen Any Leak When OFS Was Jacked Up..Looks Like Its Coming From Seal Between Engine/Gearbox...Looks More Like Gearbox Oil Than Engine Oil..So After Coilovers Were Fitted..Took It For A Wee Spin..Then The Oil Leak Stopped..Anbody Any Ideas On This ?

Sounds like the drive shaft seal maybe.

When the suspension was being pulled about the driveshaft could have come out a bit and it leak then on the test drive or when you refitted the suspension it was 'popped' back in fully.

cracking news we the coilovers man, just had to take my dampers off the rear today, both were knocking really really badly.

one of them aint damping anymore just pushes in and pulls out! no tension at all! just put my original dampers on the back with the springs and adjusters working a treat

Was Bad Enough With That Crappy Spacesaver On Driving In Snow/Ice.Was Battering Underneath Goodstyle.The Cover Over My Flexi Is Ripped Off And Left Dangling/Exhaust That Goes Over Axle Has Turned/Twisted...Gonna Have To Get It Up In Air And Get That Sorted

Have Got Couple Of Pics Before It Was Done..So Weather Permitting Will Get It Scrubbed Up Tomorrow And Throw Up A Couple Of Pics

The leek looked like it was from where the gearbox joins the engine it almost looked like the sump seal it didnt come from where the drive shaft is. Could be wrong with out fully investigating it. Glad it's stopped though after you went for the test run!
