Insignia 18vvt or 2.0 cdti

What would you choose 18vvt or the 130 2.0 cdti ? Reasons why too

I'd have to go for the the 130cdti out of the 2, i had a 160cdti for a couple of weeks & it was nice, not as quick as my 150cdti vec but the motor only had 500 miles

CDTI as the 1.8 is under powered and drinks fuel.

if you do a lot of Mway miles I dont think the 1.8 would be to bad, a neighbour had one, he got high 20s mpg most of the time, then his job changed, 100 miles of Mway every day, he said he got 37 mpg, but when he was behind me once I left him fo dead (on acceleration) on a dual cariage way, he said he flat footed it and I was still pulling away from him, mine is a 1.8 none vvt, he has sold it now said it was not a patch on his old vec.

Seems to be more 18 vvt sri navs for sale but a few 2.0 cdti 130 exclusives

I would go for the 160 CDTI but seeing as it isn't an option here, the nI would go for the CDTI 130. Reason, ok it has 10bhp less then the 1.8 but it has the torque and there would pull where it matters and be more economical.
