Service
All right guys just a quick question how much do u think i should
be paying for my 1st service, car has only done 8500miles, been quoted
£137 from main dealer and its only fluids they do i think thats a bit steep
but need 2 get it done 2 keep my warranty.
£137 is about right to be honest. I paid £129 inc VAT last year for my Insignia's first service.
Following on from that whats the likely cost for a second year service at stealers? - mines due in March!

£220 to £240 is about right for the second service.
Have you thought of using a non VX garage? As long as the garage you use is vat reg'd and use good quality parts then your warranty is maintained.
The law was changed to enable you to choose.
for an extra £30 odd they offerred to flush the engine with flushing oil
bit of overkill really

Kwik fit will do it for £90 think i will go with that price.
i took out a payment plan on my VXR , its only really any use to keep the book stamped up till warranty runs out ! they only changed the oil as the cars only done 4k ! not bad for £200 eh ?
