Boot button mod

Button on boot seems to be a bit moody, works when it wants too! Was thinking about taking off chrome strip, smoothing over hole etc, and putting a button/switch under the lip of the boot, if that makes sense? Not looked into it anymore than that, just thought i'd throw the idea out there, its probaly been done before anyway? Thought it might be a nice little mod if easy enough to do.
Any thoughts/problems or ideas welcome

i have wanted a button inside car for ages, but not got around to it

i think the only way i could do it would be to buy drivers controls with the button on and have it tech 2'd

I think its a good idea, should be easy enough as all your doing is moving the electronics and changing the button from the barrel to something else. Why not look at that magic touch stuff
