Default Clicking coming from nearside tyre

    Hi All

Just looking for some advice - every time I turn the wheel right while the vehicle is moving (roundabout etc) there is a loud clicking noise coming from the wheel area. No rubbing just a clicking noise.

    Any ideas?

I have checked to see if the wheel nuts are secure and they are.

I had same problem. It turned out to be the backing plate on the brake disc. all it needed was a gentle levering of th plate away from the disc. Try that first.

Ideally you want the front wheels off the ground and take them off. Behind the brake disk you will see a metal plate, this is the backing plate. Lever it very gently away from the disc at the bottom. What I found was that little pieces of debris had become lodged between the disc and the plate causing the clicking noise. It might help but it is definately worthwhile checking it to see.
