Brittany/Normandy Gites?

We are looking at holidaying in northern france, never visited Normandy or Brittany before - so can anyone recommend a nice Gite or area to spend a week or 2 in during the summer time?

Hi there. We spent 2 weeks in Fresne La Mere and the accomadation was excellent and we found it easy to visit all the beaches and there is Aerial assualt courses and canoeing etc nearby if you want some excitement.
