have you thought about a diesel mate?
I had a 2.5 V6 which was a damn good car but needed a tanker behind me for any trip
Now got the 1.9CDTi and it not only has better handling, it is quicker too. If you want to stick with petrol i'd go for the 2.0T and stick a BSR remap on it.
Just my opinion m8.
(the 3.2 does make a lovely noise though...................)
would aree with caterman i used to have a v6 cdx and it guzzled petrol , made a lovely noise though, i find my car (standard appart from k@n filter ) is rapid and with the aforementioned tuning box is scary!
I have the 2.0t,goes like stink and gives 34mph around town.
So go for it ...
out of the 2 mentioned i would go for the 2.0t..
I have a 3.2v6 I love it, it sounds nice and goes well too, but the petrol goes down a bit more than in the wifes 1.8. around town i get 23 to the gallon. I would be biased and say if you can afford the fuel cost,s go for the 3.2.
Go for the 1.9 CDTi with either 888 remap or tuning box.
If not Diesel go for the 2.0 T
Out of those two I'd opt for the 3.2 GSI. 'There's no replacement for displacement'
The V6 is (I think) under less stress than the 4 pot turbo. Plus you don't have to modify it to break the 200bhp barrier. More and more companies are recognising the potential of these engines and are producing tuning products for it, so it's well worth it.
The guys are right about the diesels though. Go and test drive one and see for yourself.
GSI, GSI, GSI, GSI.......awesome machines!!!
